With RoadWarrior, you can save multiple routes and manage various settings to get where you need to go--check out these tips to become a Route master.
Check out our new Colored Stop features in the "Route Settings" section!
Create New Route
Create Routes from the Map View or List View by tapping the New Route plus sign at the bottom left.
...or from the Routes page, just click the + sign at the bottom right.
Warrior Tip: Access the Routes page by opening the side menu, then tapping Routes
Routes are always saved. When you create a New Route, your "old route" is already saved--find it in the Routes page. Your Routes are sorted by start time.
Unless you add a Route name, Routes automatically save as: "Route.year.month.date". So, a route created on November 20, 2018 becomes: Route.2018.11.20.
Open a Route
The displayed Route in the Planner/Map View is called the Active Route.
To change Active Routes, open the Routes list from the side menu. The Active route is always at the top, indicated with bold font.
To open a different Route, tap the Route name, then tap Open in the popup menu.
Customize your Route by opening the Edit menu from the Route pop-up. You can do this in two ways:
Set Planned Time - set specific start and end times and dates for your route.
Warrior Tip: if you see an 'Overtime Error', try unchecking 'Is Hard Stop' on your Route
Set Round Trip - set your trip to end in the same location as the start. The green start flag will appear with a checkerboard background.
Set Start Point - set your departure point manually, or based on where you are when you Optimize (known as 'Dynamic Start'). You'll see a green Start flag on your Route when Dynamic Start is off.
Warrior Tip: To manually set a Start point, long press on the map, or type a location into the search bar, and tap Update Start
Set End Point - to set an ending point different from your Start point, first make sure Round Trip is turned off. Then, add your desired ending point as a Stop, tap the Stop, and select Mark Final.
As you may have seen, RoadWarrior got a (colorful) facelift! To make room for our exciting new Stop pins, we made a small change to Stops that are “marked First” and “marked Final”-- check out the green center circle for the first Stop, and the red center circle for the last:
RoadWarrior’s most exciting new feature is here: perfect your Route with customizable Stop colors!
Once you select the Stop you wish to edit, changing the colors of each pin is as easy as 1, 2, 3:
And that’s it! More awesome color features, like mass-editing Stop colors, are coming soon.
Manage your Routes
Delete a Route
Don't need a Route anymore? There are two ways to delete a Route from the Routes page:
Warrior Tip: Active Routes cannot be deleted; if you'd like to delete your current Active Route, just activate another Route
Copy a Route
Want to Copy your Route? There are two ways share your optimized list of Stops as text files:
Warrior Tip: The Copy feature is great for re-using Routes. Create a clean Route with no Check-Ins, then make a fresh Copy every time you wish to re-use the Route--and just delete when you're done!
Share a Route
Want to share your Route? There are two ways share your optimized list of Stops as text files:
